**United Airlines Flies 767 Full of Children to Santa's Workshop in Heartwarming Polar Express Event** In a heartwarming display of holiday cheer and community spirit, United Airlines recently transformed one of its Boeing 767 aircraft into a magical "Polar Express" for a special group of young passengers. The airline hosted its annual "Fantasy Flight," a cherished tradition that brings joy to children facing challenging circumstances. This year, the event took on an extra-special theme, whisking children to Santa's Workshop in a truly unforgettable experience. ### A Magical Journey Begins The event, held at select United Airlines hubs across the country, is designed to create a day of wonder and joy for children battling serious illnesses, those from underserved communities, or those who have experienced significant hardships. For this year's Fantasy Flight, United Airlines pulled out all the stops, decorating the interior and exterior of the Boeing 767 to resemble the iconic Polar Express from the beloved holiday story. The journey began at the airport, where children and their families were greeted by United Airlines employees dressed as elves, reindeer, and other festive characters. The terminal was transformed into a winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, holiday music, and even a snow machine to set the scene. Each child received a golden ticket, just like in the classic story, granting them access to the magical flight. ### All Aboard the Polar Express Once aboard the aircraft, the magic continued. The cabin was adorned with holiday decorations, including garlands, ornaments, and twinkling lights. Flight attendants, dressed as Santa's helpers, served hot chocolate and cookies to the young passengers, while holiday music played softly in the background. The children were encouraged to wear their coziest pajamas, adding to the whimsical atmosphere. As the plane "took off," the excitement in the cabin was palpable. While the flight itself was a short, scenic loop, the real destination was the experience of being transported to Santa's Workshop. The windows were covered to maintain the illusion, and the children were told they were flying to the North Pole to meet Santa Claus himself. ### Arrival at Santa's Workshop Upon landing, the children disembarked into a transformed hangar that had been turned into a magical Santa's Workshop. The space was filled with holiday decorations, toy-making stations, and cheerful volunteers ready to spread holiday cheer. Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus were there to greet each child personally, taking time to listen to their Christmas wishes and pose for photos. The workshop also featured activities like cookie decorating, ornament crafting, and face painting. Each child received a gift bag filled with toys, books, and other goodies, generously donated by United Airlines employees, corporate sponsors, and community partners. ### The Spirit of Giving The Fantasy Flight is a labor of love for United Airlines employees, many of whom volunteer their time to make the event a success. Pilots, flight attendants, ground crew, and administrative staff all come together to create a magical experience for
